An exciting month

August was an exciting month. My daughter had her first baby, a little girl that they have named Willlow and I had the privelidge of being present at her birth. I can't believe that tomorrow she is two weeks old, it's been a whirlwind.

Her is my gorgeous daughter just one week before Willow arrived.

Here she is with her daddy, only a few minutes old

One day old

And last Saturday

The other big excitement for me this month is that I can finally reveal my darling daschunds quilt that is featuring in this months homespun magazine

It's always such a thrill to see your own creation spring to life on the pages of a magazine.

It has not been a big month of finishes, only this sewing case for August.

And this little knitted jacket for Willow for September.

I do not expect to have any more finishes for this month as ( insert happy dance here) I am off to Europe on 4th September for the rest of the month. We fly into Venice and then have a 2 week Mediterranean cruise, followed by a week in Paris. So until then, big love to all xx
